Wet the sweatband and place in a heated environment. Worked well on the Akubra. But, the Stetson isn't quite the same. -

A great weekend of hats everyone. The best part of my morning commute is checking what you folks have been wearing. Very inspiring. Yesterday was spent running about in this comfy linen Capa newsboy. Still getting used to this "selfie" business. Urgh. This morning it's back to 'ol faithful. -

^^ Had the same thing happen to me recently. I was alarmed at how much larger it was. The good folks here told me to wet the sweatband with distilled water and stow it someplace warm, which I did (in my hot attic). Fits nicely now. -
