How do folks react to your hat wearing?
Got a nice compliment from a guy on the bus today who occasionally wears a flat cap. He commented that I always wear real nice hats. He has never run into one of you fellas. -

Mine showed up on Saturday, silverbelly as well. Nice bash on yours. I'm still a bit undecided what I'm going to do with mine, but I'm leaning towards a center dent with broad pinches. I don't know. Reckon I'll figure it out this evening. Fun dilemma. -

I have nothing more than a guess: Perhaps it has been soaked (sweat or rain or whatever) and it's caused the fibers to swell and the band has constricted it? -

I tried one of those on in a B-more hat shop a couple of weeks ago. Sharp looking hat in an unusual color. With the right accessories (I note your scarf) that hat looks famous. They just wanted too much for in that particular retail setting. Good job. -

Berets, Anyone?
Finally figured out how to wear my "band less" beret. Just pull the hat on with the "band" curled-up on the inside, rather than showing on the outside. Makes for a much more relaxed shape and natural look. I'm surprised that it took me until a few weeks ago to "get it." I can be fairly dense... -
