My club is getting its jerseys through Hometown and you see lots of them on the beach at The Race of Gentlemen. Good stuff and inexpensive for something 100% Made in the U.S.A.
Here is our club president's review of his if you're interested.
Rather than start a new thread, this one appears to be a decent one to resurrect. Can anyone share examples of pre-war or very early post-war graphic / logo t-shirts? Thanks!
I keep a pair of Weejuns in the office to essentially use as a pair of slippers. I love 'em for it, but I don't know that I'd really like them on the street. They don't feel all that substantial. I suspect stepping down hard on a piece of gravel might be quite agonizing.
A friend just shared this article with me about an interesting lady who is living a pure-vintage lifestyle in the UK. It's a shame they headlined it in the context of "finding her man" but the photos are pretty neat. She seems like someone I'd like to know.

My wife surprised me with this set the day after Christmas.
I'm usually leery of these pre-packaged sets, but for the price it was worth it just for the brush-and-razor stand. I must admit I was pleasantly surprised. The lather from the soap is nice and slick and I got a great shave - very...

This is a really fascinating topic, and I’m mainly posting to follow the discussion. I like Lizzie’s very thoughtful treatment.
My only question, though, is how does Joseph McCarthy lie about his record in a war that never occurs?
Or is it that he claims to have fought the Japanese in the...
