Rather than start a new thread, this one appears to be a decent one to resurrect. Can anyone share examples of pre-war or very early post-war graphic / logo t-shirts? Thanks!

American Apparel

Supposedly, American Apparel t-shirts imitate the earlier cut of brands like Hanes and Fruit of the Loom before they outsourced their manufacturing operations overseas. They're cut tighter and would probably have a more vintage fit.

I've got one thermal undershirt made by American Apparel that I was given as a present. It's really great - fits like a dream and it's incredibly soft. If you're into ringers, they've got 'em, too.

Fu Manchu

American Apparel is a great source for vintage styled clothing. What I love about them is the sizing. Being a small build, it's hard to find any nice fitting clothing. They have a great range!

While a little later, you can't go wrong with a Triumph T-Shirt. The King Of Cool, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, even yours truly wore one. They are still made, even pre distressed!
