Notice how the arms go straight out and there is no downward sloping?

Ahh, H&M...my secret treasure trove of vintage style tees! They have so many different types of striped tees, all vintage cut, and they look like the ones from the old catalogs! I got long sleeve ones last winter with knit waistbands and cuffs! Looked absolutely 40's-50's!Powerhouse said:Just ventured out into the modern world of clothing retail. It was scary but I went in the hopes of finding a vintagesque Stripey shirt.
After work I took a trip to the main store(Fortunoff in Westbury) to check out my billboards, banners, and other misc. signage. I stopped by the Mold Navy store and also H&M. Mold Navy had 2tone ringer Ts on sale for $5 - no stripes. H&M had tons of Stripeys! And in a semi-vintage cut. I got a few in short and long sleeve. They are all cotton knit, the long sleeves would make a good short sleeve with some simple alterations on the old singer. H&M was a bit more pricey at $20 for the long sleeve-worth it, and the short sleeves were $12. I will post some pics when I get around to it.
Ciao.
