If you visit the original Japanese version and then let Google Chrome do the translating, I think you get a better flavor of what the copywriter was trying to convey.

Even a cursory search indicates Carhartt was founded in 1889 to supply workwear to railroaders, so why do I keep seeing a video ad boasting that Carhartt was "born in the trenches" in 1918?
Is there something in particular they're referencing here? Or is just a crass attempt to capitalize on...

A clubmate and I did some casual investigation into that this afternoon and came up empty handed. Lots of A-3 repos out there, but no A-2. WWII Impressions has the HBT fabric reproduced, so it would seem a reproduction might be possible if even from photos.

I couldn't tell you about Wisconsin, but in Michigan they encourage you to complete the transaction right in the Secretary of State ("DMV") office. They get the sales tax right away and you get the assurance the transfer is done correctly.
That raises an interesting question for me: What wale is most appropriate for what era or usage? I've always preferred finer wales but the Aero trousers seem to be on the coarser side.
