Not feeling it.
If you want a vintage look, I say go with real vintage.
Take a look at Insurrection's website. If you find something you like, take the drive up to Seattle ;)
Eyechild,
I actually love Aero's FQHH. It's has a flat matte finish, scuffs easily, and does tend to transfer color. I find that it builds character quite quickly.
I would highly recommend Insurrection. They definitely know their jackets!
I tried on Goodwear's cafe racer. The leather is superb and very different from Aero's. It's much thinner and softer than Aero's and doesn't have the flat/waxy look that Aero's FQHH has. Both are great leathers, it just depends on what you want. If you want a Goodwear, the wait might be a long...
I agree with TonyB. I really don't like the midweight HH. I find that while it is lighter, it does take a longer time to break in. The look of the leather I also find to be more "plastically".

Bet it turns out great!

I agree to disagree :)
Personally, I like everything fitted- whether it be jeans, shirt, or jacket. For me, if I need to add another layer, I go to another coat.
Sorry to see that cut in your jacket!
To me, your jacket seems to be a bit big, but I like a fitted jacket. As Wade told me at Insurrection, "You should feel the leather around you." ;)
What size is your jacket and what are your measurements?
I would also recommend the B-6 or D-1. For me, the B-3 would be way too hot. I also like the simpler design of the B-6/D-1.
In Seattle, I would only wear my B-6 a couple of times a year, so I sold it. For me, wearing the B-6 was only comfortable if it was below freezing. In Munich, you should...
