Yeah, I know how you feel. My Langlitz rarely sees the light since I got my slimfit halfbelt. Really like the Aero FQHH.
If you're not happy with the brass, send it back and they'll change it out.
Hey all,
I was wondering if anyone knew the fit of the teamster. I really would like a longer leather jacket for the winter and was wondering on the fit of this coat. I have a Cheyenne, but its never quite fit right. Amanda recommended a 38, but it was huge and I sent it back for...
Yeah, I don't know why there's such variation for me. The 42 was recommended by Mark, as I wanted a roomier fit, although I think a 40 would have fit fine.
Here's the 38 in the slim halfbelt.
I guess I have had inconsistent offerings from Aero.
I had a B-6 in a 42 which fit well, a slim fit halfbelt in a 38 which fits great, and a Cheyenne in a 38 which fitted terribly.
After giving my measurements to Amanda, she suggested a 40 in the halfbelt. Luckily, Insurrection here in...
The 634S are pretty toasty for the summer. Fine to 70 for me.
I have the Triple Works and I actually prefer them to the 634S. The triple works is softer and I like the cut better. The 634S is a little tight in the thigh and hip for me.
LOL, I sold my B6, because it was too warm here in Seattle. Only time I wore it was when I went up to Canada and it was still warm down to 10 degrees. When I wore it above freezing, I started sweating.
I think you Cali people are just thin skinned! ;)
If you are only going to wear the jacket just down to freezing temps, I would just go with cotton drill or tartan. That way, you can wear the jacket in a variety of temps and adjust accordingly to the weather with layers.
For me, even the alpaca lining is too warm above 50.
Although I don't own a pea coat, I have worn them before and IMO, the pea coat is much warmer.
I have a Cheyenne with Alpaca and it's good to about freezing, but it all depends on how many layers you are wearing.
John is very slow to respond to email, but you have to remember he's a one man show. Does all the order taking, tailoring, and promotion himself. However he has such a passion for what he is doing, that I find it hard to fault him. When I met him, he talked about hiring some help, but was afraid...
I think that many Americans buy clothes that are way too big and that manufactures make clothing that is not the right size. A medium in most shirts is still too big for me (5'10", 160 lbs, 40 chest). I tend to think that this reflects the fact that most people are overweight.
Seawolf, you...
Since you're in the US, you may want to give Insurrection in Seattle a call.
I understand your pain of a jacket not fitting right. After my last Aero, I kind of swore them off, since they never were quite right. Being able to try the jackets on at Insurrection made all the difference. I ended...
