I haven't seen one of those in hand but after all my trials I would say buy only once but buy the best. The LW jacket will truly last a lifetime.

Lost Worlds then. Stuart has very limited stock of sheep but delivery time is only about 3 weeks. Mine should be here this week. Can't wait.

LW are now using the same dense sheepskins but they are no longer stiff like cardboard. Stuart sent me a sample and they are totally different to those used previously. What I like about RMNZ is that the leather trim panels are absolutely the same colour as the sheepskin. Eastman seal is too...

I have owned RMNZ,ELC,Aero and LW. My opinion is RMNZ and LW are the best from a very good bunch. Why ? Quality of sheepskins and superb craftsmanship particularly in the LW.

Your Opinion on Aero Battered Horsehide

Ken sent me some seal battered horse hide a year or so ago as a sample for my China Air b3. It's the best leather I have ever seen. Crumple it up and burnish it by hand and it looks amazing.

ALL REPRO R.A.F. Irvin type jackets

It's a lovely jacket but I think late war jackets should lack the elastic strap and had straight rather than curly or shaggy wool collars. The current ELC jackets have straight wool on the collars as on originals.

    New Aero Kradjacke, First Look

It would be good to see the arm and shoulder reinforcements added,it might then look more practical. Also its hard to tell but it looks slightly long(?)

wanted Eastman 1944 pattern RAF jacket

Looking for a multipannel 1944 RAF jacket not necessarily a Devon fleece, size 44 upwards any condition. Also Anj4 size 42 older merino type often displays flaky coating. Thanks

    ANJ-4 jackets

They look great but forget wearing one for long periods. The weight causes aching shoulders after a couple of hours.

A-1 Jacket / A1 Flying Jacket - The ultimate Golden Era flying accessory!

They are much smaller and different in colour to the buttons on the neck then. They look odd to me. If you want to buy an item how do you pay, is there some kind of registration required ?
