A rare (the only one I have seen) example of this brand - a pre-WWII Austrian fedora worn on this day some years ago by a younger man. The hat looks just the same today. Purchased from lounge member Mario whose retro B&W self portraits were always stunning.

Very interesting... the ad points to a silk underbrim as in this old hat. I never quite figured out what it might have been used for, but maybe rodeo/show makes sense.
Temperatures are rising today so a switch to a feather weight... Perry had a fine custom hat made that was inspired by this one I think. Not pristine but close to 100 years old and it still wears very well.

Ah yes... I remember that colored sweatband. I had an Exposition hat some time ago that had the same. The sweatband in that one was quite fragile. Yours looks to be in much better shape.
