    The Black Dahlia

I won't be seeing this film, but I sincerely dislike seeing Josh Hartnett as a period hero. His perpetual "irked frat boy" expression in the trailer is a big turn-off. As his his leather jacket, which seems out of place in most of the pictures I've seen.

    What is your expertise?

I would hardly call myself an "expert" on many subjects. I make a study of the unknown: cryptids, religious relics, with a heavy emphasis on a few certain ones; so I could say that I'm pretty informed there. Other than that, I write fairly well when I put my mind to it, rattle off the...

    What sounds do you like?

Sounds I relish: A ticking clock in a still room. Various small animals scurrying through the brush of the forest floor as birds sing overhead. A quiet waterfall. Waves lapping on the shore. Simple instrumental music. The scratch of the pencil as I translate ideas into words. The...

    Speaking Of The Loungers...

Despite having a traditional deep South family, I missed a gene somewhere along the way and speak without an accent. My voice is somewhat nasal a lot of the time, so I cover it up by speaking in the lower registers as much as possible. I also have a slight stutter that comes out every so...

Home is where you hang your hat...

I have a set of double-pronged hooks affixed to the one wall of my room where I hang my fedora and other favorite hats. Looks quite nice.

    What Are You Reading

Currently, I'm reading through The Greek Way, by Edith Hamilton. Very interesting book on the thought patterns and literature of the original West.

Do I follow in my parents vintage footsteps? No, I'm the family rebel who is the one making them.

    Connery's Allan Quatermain gun belt

This is much less "accesorized," but it has the double-prong buckle and could pass for a "close enough" after a dye job: http://www.visionforum.com/search/productdetail.aspx?search=belt&productid=25767 I have one myself that I've worn on some tough excursions, excellent quality.

Do You Consider Yourself To Be An Artist?

I consider myself an artist only in the sense that I know something looks good when I see it and I am learning to capture it through the camera. Other than that, I'm still looking in from the outside.
