I listen to anything, but I do prefer big band/swing, marching band music, anything doen by brass (i.e. the Canadian Brass). In my car I mainly listen to mixes that I've burned.

Ella Fitzgerald...black coffeeeee!!

25 Original recordings, under the title of LADY ELLA. I just love her, she's hot, black and gorgeous, sensual, gets right under your skin to your soul and pricks you just in all the right places. I just adore her. Ella, I so wish I could have seen you live in concert :(

She's singing...BLACK COFFEE, as I type...:eusa_clap

My favorite songs at the moment and those that are in rotation on my iPod (no more CDs for me) are:

"Mondo Bongo" By Joe Strummer. I love that song, but for the life of me, I don't believe I could tell you why.

"The Future" by Leonard Cohen. - a glorious profane opus.

"Hallelujah" by Jess Buckley. -very personal and very moving.

"Duncan" by Paul Simon. I pretty much love everything by Paul Simon.

Also, I am a huge surf guitar fan and love Dick Dale, but my favorite is Link Wray and the Raymen. That guy was ten years ahead of his time; doing things that only Hendrix would do.

The Honeydrippers were good fun too. I remember that back in my high school days.

Ironically, today I just recieved two Honeydrippers concert CD's in the mail! Unofficial releases of course. :eek:fftopic:A great memory for those of us old enough to remember is when they played "Santa Claus is Back in Town" on an Eddie Murphy hosted SNL!

BOSTON! LETS GO PATRIOTS!!!
I usually just put my iPod on random, but if I do choose:
Paul Simon
"Duncan" nothing beats when he says "headed down the road towards New England"
"Late in The Evenin'"
"Still Crazy after all these Years"
Simon and Garfunkle
"The Boxer"
"America"
"59th Street Bridge Song or Feelin Groovy"
Sting: songs depend on mood
"Fields of Gold"
"All this Time"
"Fragile"
"Brand New Day"
"Fill Her Up"
Any of his earlier stuff
Joe Strummer "Mondo Bongo" very strange lyrics, great scene with it in Mr. and Mrs. Smith
Shakira when I'm in a rock out mood, really like the Spanish versions of her songs.
Noel Coward or Bobby Short's version of "Nina"

Hmmm, not sure that it's representative, but I had in Donnie Iris, Back on the Streets.

Otherwise in my truck I have a big band compilation CD (The Very Best of Big Band Singing), two Glenn Miller CDs, Chris Isaac (Speak of the Devil), Supertramp (Breakfast in America), The Jam (The Gift), Siouxsie & The Banshees (Twice Upon a Time), and a few others I can't think of.

My CD changer at home is currently filled up with Snuff, which is good for listening to whilst cleaning the house. I think the five Snuff CDs in the changer are Tweet, Tweet, my Lovely; Flibbiddydibbiddydob; Potatoes & Melons Wholesale Prices Straight from the Lock Up; Demmamussabebonk; and Snuff Said.
