I think anti-humidity is different than anti-frizz. I haven't tried one myself yet, but I have been meaning to. I know if I get anywhere near moisture my hair poofs like mad! Have you tried prepping your hair with an anti-humidity product first? Then use the wax? Maybe after the wax add a thin layer of the shiney stuff on it? I know absolutely nothing about pomades, but that is what I would do... or use a shine spray on top. Careful with that though... it make the...- LolitaHaze

Use your fingers to break up the curls first, then use a brush (preferably a round bristle) to brush from underneath, shaping as you brush. But keep brushing... I get the frizz too but them it calms down once you shape it into place.- LolitaHaze

I was running late for work today so I didn't have time to properly set my top curls and I ended up just pomping it. I am unhappy with the top, but I love wearing the bottom curls with it held back by combs. Also, because I was running late, I didn't snap very good photos of my do.- LolitaHaze

A Gentleman's Grooming Question: The Proper Style for Thick, Frizzy Hair?
I agree with those that say grow it longer on top. Once you learn how to style the top.. grow it out a bit on the sides as well.
