    Yes, it is very likely to be cowhide, but I couldn't tell for sure from looking at the picture. According to Brian, the owner, textile didn't come close to leather in terms of protection. Not sure if it has evolved more since then.

    Yes they abound, relatively speaking. Whether it implies that there is enough to meet demand is your interpretation. And if we are to consider this to be the case, it seems the demand is reasonably met, when you see all the new jackets consistently being shown here. I did not miss the scale...

    I like both of yours @Marc mndt , really cool I had in mind of getting one in grey, only thing, you need to have the right silhouette for it. I agree @Mich486 , much harder to pull off than a grizzly or a seventies jacket.
