I have been to Schafer Hat Works, he trimmed a brim for me. I may have to go back by there one of these days. I will probably fall off the wagon (of my diet) and have a chicken fried steak across the street. Nice hat.

I have never seen the Fed IV in person, the moonstone Fed in pictures looks lighter to me than the CD does. Someone could send me a moonstone Fed so I could do a comparison ;).
Ever shoot a longbow or recurve with a hat on? Most folks are right handed and it was probably common to tilt hat and/or or flip right side of brim up to be able to shoot without affecting the string. A lot of archers used to wear brims swept up on right side.
