The Banjo Patterson is stiffer than the Stylemaster. The Banjo is closer to a western hat with a stiff brim and will hold up well to weather I would not hesitate to wear it in a driving rain. The Stylemaster can take some weather too. I would pick whichever you lean towards. The Banjo Pete... -

Old Stetson OR converted to wanderer type ribbon. Was my driving hat today due to high wind and heat. Its funny how this 2 3/4" brim looks smaller than other 2 3/4" hats. -

You might google smoking and covid-19, saw a story a couple of weeks back that said doctors were puzzled that very few smokers are being checked into hospitals with the virus.
