I hop between the two continents (Europe & Asia) quite often, there seems to be quite a different in the preference of jacket brands, mostly on more subjective views than facts, and one important factor, fits. I think most of us will have no objection about the excellency of Japanese...
Wearing some Nudie jeans at the moment, simply because of the cuts and the Made in Italy tags. I have gone pass the selvedge fever and have decided that it is not all that important. There are still a few pairs of LVCs and some Japanese jeans in my drawers but they are probably going to sit in...
That's pretty much my size. I usually go for a comfort size 40 fit or a tight size 38 for my ELC/Aero/BK A-2s. If you want a really slim profile, the choice of a 38 tall or long with custom sleeve would probably be the best.
Besides from all the unrests around the world, 2019 was an uneventful year, at least on a more personal level. As my job is not exactly very secured, I am rather reluctant to spend big on jackets as well as other non-essential items.... and yet I still ended up with some new jackets and some...
Good that they finally responded, positively I must say, it's their reputation to lose if they didn't.
Lewis have been very adventurous recently with their hides in the past couple of years, but their QC seems to have gone downhill a bit from what I have seen so far. I suspect it is down to...
Glad that I came, it was lovely meeting all you lads and the stunning jackets as well. Hope that more people will turn up next year! And thanks Red Devil for the pint!
P.S. it looks like ELC's price will be going to go up soon.
I only know they actually exist when I was browsing TaoBao for the Bob Dong and Bronson stuffs. Some of them are actually not cheap (up to £200-400 if I ask them to ship locally), and they do look pretty glorious in the photos. Provided that if they are WYSIWYG, that is worth a try as if they...

"Lisa Kato was born and raised in Japan. She studied photography at Tokyo Polytechnic University. After graduating from university, she moved to New York in 2010.
She worked at a still-life photo studio and learned filming and editing there...
Yes, absolutely, it is not just in NY. It has been around in London for a long long time, particularly around the London Fashion Week period. I have been reading Japanese magazines such as Lightning and Clutch for a long time, we see these street style photos week in week out.
As for the...
You are absolutely right, I bet that they simply use whatever threads they have in the factory to sew on the buttons, I had to re-sew all the buttons on my Bronson B-10 just to make sure that they don't fall off.
As much as I do not like their ruling regime, you do get some quality garments...
I think the term is 'click-bait' ;) Happy days..... for him! I guess his production house knows a few of the typical modern promotion tricks. You can see from his FB page.
I have to agree with Clifton (from a Londoner), York is really scenic, best for somebody who wants to avoid the cities.
Absolutely, there are better seaside towns much prettier than Brighton. As for London, yes, there is really no comparison, it is one mega city which is only comparable to...
