To alter just the width of the should would be difficult, especially if you want to keep the pattern pretty much the same.

I've seen people placing a bigger layer of leather underneath the patch to act as the base. If it is a vintage real deal, I don't mind the holes.... but for cosmetic reasons, and probably practical reason (when it rains....), I would cover up the stitch holes. ;)

It really depends on what you want to see. Heard that there is currently a heat wave going on there, be prepare to have Tees and shorts.
If you are staying at the Langham at Tsim Sha Tsui, you can easily take a ferry to the island side, maybe going up to the Peak via the cable car?

I was a little bit disappointed with the Saturday display, the weather wasn't helping. I guess it is typical at Fairford. But at least I've got the see the 'real' U2 and the B-1B. Should have booked tickets for both...
