Pecards is a petroleum distillate based "conditioner" ... just like John C's top recommendation - Vaseline Petroleum Jelly (read petroleum grease ). Waxes ( natural and petroleum based) and oils and greases have been used for 1000's of years on leather and in my experience have little or no...
It really depends on the leather ...... so to speak. I'm an advocate of machine washing if the leather is chrome tanned and does not have a specific finish e.g. buckskin, suede and aniline. It's not that these can't be washed it's just that the outcome is more variable. My leather washing...
I think because of a number of factors pics of Luftwaffe pilots in leather jackets ( aside of the google examples) are much rarer than USAF or RAF pilots. this includes the famed "Hartmann" style jacket .These factors being:
1. After the war many of the pictures of German pilots were not...
Every single one of my Aero and SB jackets has at least one internal pocket ... most have two (only two do not have studs) ..... both Eastman Leathers have inside pockets in the Aero / SB style (both by design and the Ostman has a zip closure) ... as has my LW Suburban, my two Sam Walker...
I have an Eastman "Ostman" jacket in a 42" ... and at 170cm (5'7") and 90Kg (195lb) I don't think it would accommodate anyone any taller than 175cm TBH. These are quite short jackets overall on a par with the Vanson Comet and the std. sleeve length on the 42" is 25".
UQAAB jackets (UQAAB WEARS) are incredibly cheap, and some of the pictures used on Ebay to advertise them belong to other manufacturers, such as Goodwear, Aero and Eastman ( this has been shown and discussed at length in various other forums including VLJ etc.) !
I don't think they have ANY...
Lewis Leathers, Mascot, Belstaff and Rivetts (to name but few) used Lambskin in the manufacture of their jackets in the 60's, 70's and 80's ... indeed some of their modern versions are still lamb. By modern standards they were indeed about as abrasion resistant as denim :( yet they command huge...
Great jacket .... and much better than the 90's version which had mobile phone pockets etc. .... simple but incredibly effective.

Can provide measurements on request but fits like a stock 42" :)

They can be "buttery soft" ?? ... goat, deer and kangaroo can be incredibly soft hand leather yet they can be a factor or two better than steer and horse regarding sheer strength and abrasion resistance. NO leather will protect you from an impact perspective (that's what armour is for) but it...
From Ken's post on VLJ:
"We had a break in at Aero in the early hours of this morning, Monday 10th July, around 2am at our factory on Huddersfield Street in Galashiels, around 110 new and used Aero jackets, mostly orders waiting to go out today, and some original vintage pieces were stolen...
Some of my more expensive ones are treated with "smart water" ( it was free from our local police) .... I use it on my bikes, laptops, guitars and there's more than enough for jackets ... takes a tiny amount ( a small dab from a Q-tip in an inconspicuous place) ... unknown to anyone but me (...
The Motordomes aka "Murderdomes" were brutal .... it's no surprise that many of the major players died, a woolen jumper and serge breeches are no defence against a crash at speed ... in fact the danger and carnage was detailed at the time as one of the major attractions ( the human race is funny...
Aero
Vicenza would be the closest to what you have described .. the MWHH is also nice but doesn't have the depth of graining that Vicenza has .... equally don't discount steer which shows much more graining and creasing IMHO than HH.
SB's
Clayton is 3.5-4oz and much more like a softer hand...
