Wasn't it with the instant buy option? I'd pick it up. It's in very good condition and So-Sew Styles belonged to the best makers back then. You can see it was hardly worn when you look at the knit storm cuffs. Those things are frayed on most jackets that had been worn. This seems to be in a...
Oh I must have misunderstood you, the McCoy's is already ultimately yours so the window to return it is already shot? Somehow I though you still have to chose between the Buzz and the McCoy's.
In this case I think it's clear.
As for your sleeves, it depends on how you like them. The creases...
There are times when I think that despite that N-1s as well as A-2 were issued to ships not individuals, some could have been private purchases tailored for one personally. I have seen N-1s made from pique fabric with better fur. I sometimes think that the A-2 in grosgrain was another curiosity...
His sleeves are so much too long while the rest fits, that this is not an option. Actually the sleeves on N-1 Jackets are rather not the easiest to alter. You have to undo the knit cuffs, shorten the fur liner, re-attach the knit cuffs, shorten the sleeve, re-do the attachment to the knit cuff...
I think we can sum up what most including the TO agreed on.
Ranking:
Option 1: Keep the Buzz, let the sleeves be shortened. But check one size bigger first if the bigger size solves the armhole issue.

She is fed. Found this Vintage A-2 for you. It's nice condition, knits intact, color good, your size and its in Bellingham, Washington. So-Sew was a very good company. He had it wrong, it's 1985. One of the last. Returns accepted...
Check also Bronson! But you will have to size up. There is one ebay shop, something with vtgdr-store or so. They will ask you for your measurements and advice you to size up.
It's the exact same Jacket. It's just called Military Surplus on Cultizm's site. Cultizm is a store in Münster Germany. They also have Iron Heart, Pike Brothers and such. I think most traders sell these on ebay or even amazon. Go for the cheapest incl. shipping.
the Tanker really is a nice alternative. But I am really curious if you can get that cheap Mil-Tec N-1 over there in the US, it is a nice looking and comfortable jacket for the price tag.
To clear things, it is not a question of money for the thread opener, it's a question of fit.
just looked it up. seems when you go to ebay.com and type in Mil-Tec N-1 you will get them from three traders free shipping to US (don't know if this would be the same when you visit ebay com from your US location. Can you look it up for me? I would really be interested to know if this is only a...
