I can't say for sure when the above jacket was made but I have recently ( Nov/ Dec 2022) made adjustments to the side panels of the prem High patterns to make them more " )( " shaped. This helps reduce some of the excess that some people were experiencing in the torso at belly height.- Hide'n'seek

We would have no interest in doing anything with a Kelso jacket , especially after they themselves have bodged a repair / alteration. Yes you are right regarding the Sheene yoke and 59'er waist band. Not all our yokes meet arm seams but they always have on Highwayman (both classic and Premier). This isn't how Aero do it. Aero do not offer removable collars as we have never found an attachmnet way that we have been truly happy with.
