'lo all. Anyone know when Wormser hats stopped being made?

They stopped making them in the 1950's (I think) . Interstingly , the chain was bought out by the family that owns Miller Hats in Texas. Give them a call ,they can tell you more about the label.

I sure hope that this one will fit. I think that one will make a fantastic spring & summer lid. It should go perfectly with a seersucker suit and a pair of spectator shoes.

I recently found a new condition Wormser at a small town antique store. I don't think the crown's ever been creased.
It is shapped exactly like the one that Johnny Depp wore in Public Enemies, but it is this incredibly rich, dark, dark, dark chocolate ... almost black.
2 inch ribbon with a back bow.
What an amazing hat.
I started looking at examples on line. They appear to have been great hats.

Possibly. Or 40s. There's no way it's a 60s hat, not from any year in the 1960s.

By the way, MV, what color is the hat? Looks like a beige or light tan, and the ribbon looks orange. Reason I ask, I have a Stetson similar but smaller brim, it had an olive ribbon on it, and I was thinking of changing it. That orange looks really nice with the light color.

It is a light tan with a copper colored ribbon. The photos on the earlier page really captured the color well, too, I must say.

My newest favorite hat of exactly 4 hours since in came in the mail!
