Found this thread and liked yours very much Harv, so thought I'd post this Wormser Regency Series.
5" crown as cattleman creased and 3" brim, too white to be silverbelly I think; 7 1/4" LO- never worn. When I bought it I thought I might try to convert it to a fedora, but very hard/stiff felt so it will stay as is (too western to wear it here in England)

Very nice Jim. The price of $6.85 is interesting, back when a couple of dimes actually meant something. Sweet liner.Wormser Supreme Quality.
5 1/2" crown
2 1/2" bound brim
Great piece. A little roomy, but I'm not going to let that bother me. Pretty wonky when I received it, especially the brim. Not having a 7 3/8 flange, I had to make do with the table and hand shaping. This is my first Wormser, and I'm delighted.

I still need to reattach the wind trolley, which had become detached and was reattached wrong.

These are sweet hats with a dedicated following! Do we have anyone with data on the Wormser quality levels? I’ve seen Supreme Quality ($6.85 - ‘40s?), Royal Luxury, Sterling Quality, Custom, and 10 Star.
Information on date placements would be great too, even if tough on these.
Pushing this again, anyone have quantitative or qualitative views on these Wormser quality designations?
Daniel, I have one Wormser in an OR style with a 3" brim. It bears both the 3X and 10* designations.
ore mystery! Is that the Wormser you have listed in your top ten?
