That's a beauty of a Floridian 40 Cal! I love that shade of grey. On my monitor it looks a bit deeper in tone than dove grey. And the ribbon's a knockout!

That is a beaut. I was looking at a Floridian on Ebay a while ago, didn't pull the trigger. Is it at least a light weight felt to earn such a "tropical" name?My new Wormser. It's called " The Floridian" . Yes, nothing says Florida quite like an average looking grey fedora! Right? I don't get it either.
Nice hat though.

Thanks Robert. I'll agree.Nice.
Thanks Bob. It's vying for that position with me too, certainly on the condition front. I have a few hats I really like now and it would be tough to pick an overall favorite.Gonna say that my favorite of yours.
Thanks Anthony. But now I'm getting paranoid about sweating in it, or worse yet splashing my coffee on it. I guess they are risks it will have to endure as I certainly plan on wearing it. The Hatters to Men is certainly an entertaining slogan, but the part of the logo that caught my eye is "Styled by Wormser" . Did they manufacture all of their hats? I think they were a retail chain and manufacturer, right?mighty fine "Vermsah" there Michael ... I'll say it every single time
one of the most beautiful hats that has shown up here this year in my opinion

Yes the Wormser I found yesterday at the flea market.I had on my white Mallory, guess I have a new lucky hat.Cool. Is that a find from your flea market search yesterday? If it is, you must've been wearing your lucky hat again. Good to see you posting.

Thank you! That's such a nice crease!
Nice score!Wormser Supreme Quality.
5 1/2" crown
2 1/2" bound brim
Great piece. A little roomy, but I'm not going to let that bother me. Pretty wonky when I received it, especially the brim. Not having a 7 3/8 flange, I had to make do with the table and hand shaping. This is my first Wormser, and I'm delighted.
Open crown
Innards
The results
I still need to reattach the wind trolley, which had become detached and was reattached wrong.
