I just sent in a deposit and need to decide what to get. I think something with a hint of western, lower crown, minimal vertical tapering. Maybe it would be easier to reshape my head.
He has one that resembles an Open Road.:)

I love the side profile of Art's hats. Thats a real sharp looking lid Indycop. Is this his thinner felt?
I think he calls it dress weight but it is really light! I may have to get one of those Artlites next since it's hard to imagine something lighter.:D

Have a look at the LaSalle on Art's site. It is hard to get the real feel for the hat from that picture but the hat has a diamond bash with a somewhat of a straight brim. I posted pics of it in a couple of threads, one was the "post your new hats here" thread. It is my goto hat.:)

It looks great on you. I'm starting to think that 'Art' is short for artist, because he certainly qualifies.

Art builds a first class hat, it can be seen in the details. The sweat lays perfectly, no pucker or waffling. You chose the right hatter for an absolutely stunning hat. If only all customs were built to Arts exacting standards. I bet it fits like a dream. Enjoy your prize.

Bud it definitely fits like I was born wearing it! I think Art's hats are something that you should count customer experience and Art's reputation cos at least for me I know they look good in pictures but no picture I have been able to take shows even half of how good they really look or fit!
