Hi Melissa

If memory serves, you're married, so this won't be of any help. I worked with a girl back in the 1990's who found and married her husband by going to happy hour at Hooter's regularly. She said that SHE had time to talk to the guys and get phone numbers etc, but the waitresses didn't have the time.

Something to think about. :D

lol I don't doubt it! But yeah, I'm married, so I plan on staying out of this joint.

I do wonder why there has never been a national chain - like Hooter's - for women, a place staffed with Chippendale lookalikes.

The Tilted Kilt is about as Scottish as McDonald's is. The Highlander for me! Don't forget ladies, at the Highlander, the men wear kilts as well! I'm rather ticked, as I had a chance to go to Ottawa on duty in April. Now I've been moved to train personnel in Mississauga.

If you've never heard of Mississauga, google it to discover why...

If MacDonald's had servers like that then I would be going there more often. :p

Ding! Ding! Ding! That is my friend's idea. He wants to call it a shortened version of this bird: Without the muffler name on it of course. :p

Here's the thing - I would STILL be uncomfortable being served food by good looking men. I have never been into the whole Chippendales thing, either. My college roommate dragged me to one of their shows once and I was embarrassed the entire time and wanted nothing more than to go home.

The last thing I want when I'm eating is to be uncomfortable!

Well, it isn't my business venture so I have no ideawhat demographics and other figures he has that say it might work. I have a feeling that there might be a few women comfortable enough to go to a place like that though. :p
When he gets it up and running, I am sure he would invite you in. :p

Those are all great choices and I use them too. My standby favorite that I always have in the house is McIlheny brand tabasco sauce. It has the perfect blance of high heat and flavor. I also like Frank's Red Hot.
I might try Franks.
If I start using Tabasco again, it will be flavoring my A-1 sauce. Somehow we are out of the market for the Tabasco A-1. A place in the South NOT using hot sauce? Seems odd to me.
Since my wife is just the opposite, I can't add these items to the entire dish, I have to add it to my portions only.

Frank's is great. I keep a bottle in my desk drawer at work because from time to time we have catered meals and it is always soo bland, I just can't stomach it.

I really enjoy Italian and Greek food, and we have always cooked a lot of both at home because they are tastes that the whole family can agree on. When we eat out, we often go for Greek.

What I REALLY love is Caribbean food. However, it is very difficult to find here. We have one Jamaican restaurant now, that I believe might actually survive, but most places have been very short-lived..which is why I have learned to cook a lot of dishes myself.

I really cannot stand any Asian cuisine at all..the flavours do nothing for me and I am always starving an hour later.

Hadn't thought of Frank's for years. When I was a young single man and spent a lot of time in the local taverns, we would sometimes have the bartender make us a Tombstone frozen pizza in the little oven. They always had Frank's on the bar to put on it. Might have to pick up a bottle for old times sake. Wonder if it will taste the same without having a snoot full of beer to go with it?

Then I'll HAVE to get it now that it's had rave reviews. :D
Went down that aisle at Walmart today and completely forgot.
I'll go tomorrow.

Olive Bleu mentioned Caribbean food, I'd forgotten that! Probably because our first and last local joint closed down soon after opening, a real shame. When we lived in Victoria, BC, one of our favourite places was The Reef, a great place for jerk and other dishes. The deep fried plantain chips with chipotle dip was a great appetizer! One of the many things we miss about Van Isle...
