Ground turkey meatloaf, baked potato, some leftover chicken macaroni.
Lots of ketchup over meatloaf. Nailed seconds. Blessed with an Irish peasant plebeian palate.

Turkey, beef, pork....or any combination thereof....meatloaf always makes for a satisfying meal.

And leftover meatloaf sandwiches are lunchtime bliss. (or breakfast or supper)

Supper last night was a new healthy recipe, pesto herbed chicken with rice pilaf and veg. Quite tasty, even the daughters liked it, and that is saying something!

Chipotle taco bowl at my sister's. Tortilla chips, Coke Zero. Very delicious.

Worked late...roast beef sandwich from Arby's on the drive home.

Last night was pizza night, as good ol' dad was too tired to deal with dinner.

Tonight there will be tacos. I'm getting hungry for them already.

Last night was beef stew with garlic bread. Tonight I’ll make corn bread to have with it.

^^^A favorite and the deal sealed w/garlic bread.
I first learned of corn bread inside a mess hall at Ft Polk, Louisiana. Never heard of it on Chicago south side.
Totally new animal, so to speak. Love it w/coffee. Today, I saw two boxes of Famous Dave's Corn Bread mix
atop kitchen table. Front cover box has a hog wielding fork-pierced ribs. That's progress. Never had corn bread
w/ribs. Donut holes afterward once w/coffee. Hit the spot.

Tonite was Road Runner. Chicken with onion, peppers red and green. Sauce, other stuff. Tortilla chips.
Coke Zero. Just the thing for a cold January nite.

Ran through basic North Fort Co A, 4th Btn 1st Bgde and South Fort 11B20 AIT 1973.
Drill Sgt cadre Polk were all very, very impressive men. Learned a lot from you guys. Thanks.
