Murder by Television
"James Houghland, inventor of a new method by which television signals can be instantaneously sent anywhere in the world, refuses to sell the process to television companies, who then send agents to acquire the invention any way they can. On the night of his initial broadcast Houghland is mysteriously murdered in the middle of his demonstration and it falls to Police Chief Nelson to determine who the murderer is from the many suspects present."

Bela Lugosi did an interesting job here playing two roles.

Dear Zachary - One of the most upsetting documentaries I have seen - I won't give away too much (particularly for people who, like me, weren't familiar with the case) but you are left feeling so enraged and saddened by the whole sorry series of events. You are just left wondering how some people hold onto their jobs and more importantly can live with themselves after something like this.
