What style would you call this?

It's a Mallory, but what is the proper name for this style?

I would say it is a pinched front porkpie. It has a telescope crown , so this would make it a porkpie, not a flat top - which is as its name indicates, a flat crowned crown, blocked this way - no crease at all.

I have a similar one in grey.

Regards!

Incidentally, Cigarband -- that bow treatment is referred to as a "backbow." If you run a search using this term, you will find lots of examples of similar lids.

I'm relying on memory, here, but I recall seeing that style, new, without the side dents; just a front point to the crease, and a front crease line running from the top of the crown to the ribbon. If you pop the side dents out, you'll see what I mean. :)
