And now the one i have been wearing every day for the past two week, i have ridden just under 2500km in miserable weather in it during that time and it has performed really well.
It's not as waterproof as the regular horse hide is, but it's not as bad as some veg tan jackets i have.
After 2 or 3 hours in the rain you feel damp, but not wet.
It is far more comfortable than the horse hide though, and i love the michelin man creases it is getting.

Heaviest jacket I own, the Swedish M1909 parka. You can pick them up relatively cheap and the build quality is amazing. Great winter jacket.

These are so cool, i have been wanting one since i first saw "12 Monkeys" as a teenager, unfortunately i doubt it would ever get cold enough for me to get to wear one where i live, they look like they woudl be even warmer than a B-3 and that's already too much for me...

Man that looks like the actual Bane jacket. I could use that here in Chicago for sure. Adding to my saved searches.

This jacket is superb. The hide is so freaking cool. I would kill for a Ryder in it. Looks like a super heavy leather blanket. The perfect balance of crazy weight and soft over stiff. Best of both worlds.

Please don't put out a contract on me, but the next moose jacket to be made will be a size 42L Ryder, nylon lining, NOS nickel zippers...

Took some quick fit pics of @Monitor's old Speed Demon for another member, really a sweet jacket, different leather from what Stu currently uses, not as soft as the current batch, a bit more shine, and a grey core similar to the Freewheelers Rude Black. It's super comfortable and I'm glad to have it.

Perfect, perfect! I'm glad it's in the right hands. Such a cool jacket. Got everything!

The Beast is nuts, too. The sharp, angled creases in the arms are absolutely perfect. It's like huge linen, which is only a good thing.

No idea. It's a full on custom, I think. I never saw one like it, either. It's too cool but too small on me. I can barely move in it.

Thank you! I wish it felt as great as it looks. It's really tiny.

It looks like it would work if you weren't wearing the thickest fisherman jumper ever knitted!
How is it in a T shirt?

Yesterday I scored what is quite possibly the most perfect LL I've handled.

Lol! It's not that thick. Just some H&M junk. Fits better on just a T-shirt but y'know how a small jacket is always too small. It's just restrictive. I can't lift my arms. Oddly enough, it's got much room in the waist but that's because of the side adjusters, I believe. My two friends who are 80kg or so tried to try it on but couldn't even fit their arms through. It's a small jacket.

Ton, we need a separate thread on that acetone job. The acetone takes off the topcoat, right? And then you oil and dye it, right? I might try it on some jacket I'm bored with, lol.
I agree @ton312. I'd like to give that a try myself but my OCD nature could use a little more detail first. I have to be able to picture the end from the beginning to get started.
