SJC 33 wool Halfbelt back from Dena. As usual her work is superb and the leather cuff/storm cuff addition worked out splendidly.

In sharp contrast to my usual boring posts of me wearing my Buco J24L, here is something completely different - my newly received Buco J24 purchased from the very helpful Gily of this parish. What attracted me to it was that it is a size 46, which I hoped may give me a fighting chance of being able to actually comfortably zip it up - the J24L I have is 44 and prettty prettty snug. Pleased to report I can not only do it up but I also have just a little breathing room, which pleases me greatly. I was worried it might be a bit short for my lanky frame, but it seems good to me, ending just about where a cross zip should I think. Anyway enough waffle, here's some pics

Great jacket. I have the "L" version. I don't think it's too short, it breaks perfectly for sitting down and riding a motorcycle!

Finally my FW Mulholland jacket arrived after 3.5 weeks journey from Bangkok to Germany. @Knakorn Piulueangsawat Many thanks again for the friendly and smooth transaction - highly recommended seller! Condition of jacket is better than expected. Almost new condition I would say (only worn a couple of times probably).
Here are some fit pics - I'm more than happy that I chose size 40 as I was originally searching for a size 38. The jacket feels very comfy to wear. This jacket basically covers all I need and like - I'm definitely done with leather jackets now unless FW realeases something very special/unique in the near future - honestly speaking I don't see anything which appeals me.

Cheers, Robbie

First of all thanks very much to all for your positive feedback. @Jin431 No, way, man! I'm done after this one and I prefer black even if the brown version looks good on you ;)

Not wearing today but “what jacket am I weighing today”….this kind of shocked me. With a duty belt this is well over 10lbs. It’s a good thing it’s soft. I’ve decided anything over 5lbs must be soft. I’ve grown to prefer lighter weights and heavy plus stiff is 100% banned from my closet. I can’t wait to give it a real wear this weekend. I suspect my former Cal Ventura (that I sold around 2012) was actually an AL. I’ve never had a Cal this heavy.

Just typing this guarantees at least ten more jackets. You can think it, but one must never type it. ;)
I'm at least saying that "unless FW (or any other brand) releases something really unique/special like the Mulholland" this is my last leather jacket. There is nothing really which really appeals me right now as my colleaction covers all basic styles I like, or did I forget something (yes, the A2 but I sold my second hand Eastman A2 as I'm not a A2 kind of guy....I even consider so sell my A1's).

that's true, i hope FW offers the Mulholland in a limited run of leather such as the dead leaf brown. I've been dreaming of a la Brea too but I want to try one out in store before I decide on it since im between sizes.

I'm not wearing it today but I thought this would be a good place to share this story.

Bought this LL a couple of weeks ago. The pics were the worst but I decided to hit bin without asking questions about condition or size because it was listed pretty cheap.

It turned out to be too small but I was able to stretch it up a couple of inches, just enough for a tshirt only fit.

Today I realized I totally forgot to let the seller know how much I love the jacket so I decided to send her a couple of fit pics. This was the reply I got:

Votre message me touche particulièrement.

In English:

Your message particularly touches me. This jacket belonged to my dad who was a biker, then to my uncle and finally my cousin who wore it. Unfortunately my cousin left us in June.
To see this jacket come back to life on your shoulders and in addition in your country (he would have liked to visit it) makes me happy.
There is a sign to all of this.
Thank you again and good luck

There's so much more to a jacket than the jacket itself.
