Uniqlo U Windproof Fleece Jacket. This held up surprisingly well during the ride to work today. It really does handle wind as it's name suggests while being super light weight and warm.

The materials tag lists 52% acrylic, 43% polyester and 5% wool for the outer shell and 100% poly for the inner part. It's thick but would be significantly heavier if it had more wool in it. It's very light weight as is.

My LW Ryder arrived and it is love at first sight! Unfortunately for you guys I am a very crappy photographer and this is the best I managed to do in the short time I had to snap a couple photos:

View attachment 215689 Not great I know but you get the idea. Stuart was perfect on the fit, nice and trim without being at all tight. I agree with Tom71 that the 3.5 oz horsehide is quite wearable right out of the box. The jacket is quite creaky and squeaky so I am wettimg it down with the water bottle and walking around the house windmilling my arms, normal behavior for one of us jacket people.
I will get some better pictures taken tomorrow and post them for you guys, this is too nice a jacket not to share with everyone.

Congrats! Glad, you like it too!!

Looks like a great fit too, from what I see. More pics are eagerly awaited.

Looks great. What size is it? Very interested in actual measurements, especially pit to pit. Been eyeing this style for a while.

This one is a stock size 40. My usual Vanson size across many models. While a 42 always seems more comfortable at first, they break in way to loose baggy on me. Either too long torso or wide in the waist. Learned to suffer through a slightly tight fit when brand new to end up with the perfect size down the road.

I’ll make a separate post with better pics and some questions for the lounge on my mode j modification plans
