Looks quite okaish to me...just kidding - love it!
Just came back from a business trip to Milan. Took my Ridley with me since I was afraid that I won’t survive the week without it.

What do you think of the Blattwerk? I have samples of it but its hard to tell what it is like as a jacket. Judging by my samples It seems rather thin and very soft and pliable.

I would say it’s not thin, but not thick either, and yes soft/pliable certainly not delicate though, I’ve only had this for a couple of days and it’s becoming very comfortable to wear I would say it drapes very well and is starting to develop some nice character already.

@jonesy86 Good to see you're enjoying your well deserved retirement! Hawaii it is? Have you met Woody Harrelson yet? I heard he's living on Hawaii as well and enjoys his days without all the fuss our modern society confronts us with, playing board games. I imagine that to be quite the life!

I wore the same jacket today. I got it in October and it's one hell of a jacket. Tough as nails and looks killer to boot. The jacket took about 2 months of wear to really settle in but its the best fitting denim jacket I've ever worn. The price on these things is pretty up there but I personally don't think a better type 3 exists. I wear mine primarily to kick around town or if I know my field work is gonna be demanding.

Agreed! Between this and the IHJ-77 I’m a serious fan of these guys now. I’ve owned the jeans forever and never really thought twice about the jackets. But wow. I’m a believer now.

Seconded. I'd like to check out some other Japanese brands but by the looks of it, and compared to all the other trucker jackets I've had and tried on, the IH's Type 3 is by far the best.
I've been wearing mine whenever the weather would allow it, had it on at work the whole day, every day and it's just a perfect thing to live in.

As for the price, it's up there alright but not significantly more so than anything from Levi's heritage collection. These are all over $300 and for that kinda cash, it definitely makes more sense investing into an IH.
