Seconded. I'd like to check out some other Japanese brands but by the looks of it, and compared to all the other trucker jackets I've had and tried on, the IH's Type 3 is by far the best.
I've been wearing mine whenever the weather would allow it, had it on at work the whole day, every day and it's just a perfect thing to live in.
As for the price, it's up there alright but not significantly more so than anything from Levi's heritage collection. These are all over $300 and for that kinda cash, it definitely makes more sense investing into an IH.
I've got a fair amount of IH pieces that I love but their general design seems to be pretty safe--basically overbuilt and overspecced classics. I also wear a lot of Stevenson Overall, they have some incredibly cool stuff with very nice detailing. They don't really build anything with fabrics that punch at the IH weight class, but here in Texas lighter clothing gets you a little further most of the time.
