Found it NOS on ebay recently. There are a few left. At the price point (under $200) i think it's a great pick up. Workmanship is pricepoint good. Like buying USA made goods. Just got it so the jury is out on the cut. It feels weird having the leather stop, which you feel against you, and the knit continue. Also tend towards sweatshirts this time of year which hang below the knit. Not 100% sure i like it, but am happy to figure it out at $200 rather than $1,000.

Navy cold-weather/flame resistant deck jacket. With the wind chill, the temps were in the single digits for most of the day. This current-issue USN deck jacket handled the cold weather quite well with only a thermal shirt and medium-weight sweater underneath. I'm very pleased with this latest acquisition!

And speaking of photos, THOR’s photos always feature such interesting backgrounds and locations around the NYC waterfront.
Thank you @seres! That's one good thing about working on the water and starting your day at 5am; you get to enjoy lots of pretty scenery :D

Man, I start my day at 6am and I ride 8 miles right along the river and I don't see any scenery as pretty as this. Just fog and bad smell and... Cold. Every day. Fog and cold. There and back. Each day...

Yeah, but when that wind comes tearing through the Verazzano straits early in the morning you wish you could just go back to a nice, warm bed. We used to have to wait for the bus on Shore Road in Bay Ridge. I still shiver when I think of it.
