Walked the dog in my Aero B-3 this morning because it was snowing, and dog loves snow, so I was out for an hour. Went to the store to buy milk at 3pm in a t-shirt and LW G-1.

Early Aero ANJ-4 I picked up from ebay this week. I think this one might be a keeper. The sheepskin cuffs are very nice on the wrists. The sleeves are about an inch too long and I prefer a long zip but neither of these are a reason to move this jacket on *said angrily to myself*

Long sleeves and a short zip would often be an important reason to move a jacket.

Which Thedi did you opt for?
I went for the MTC 12799 (Triangle Man) crosszip in Cuoio buffalo. This was one of three sample colors Carrie sent me and it is a little lighter than the cognac buffalo. My girlfriend liked this color best of all, and she pointed out that it is unlike any other jacket I already own.

This is the kind of jacket I like most. No, I’m not particularly crazy about CWUs. But I do love a vintage flight jacket that shows her mojo. Honest wear, I think they call it.

I wish I could tell y’all her name, but her tag is long ago gone. I can tell you that she’s a late-seventies, CWU-45P. She’s among the first of her kind, and she still sports the Velcro strips that held her orange emergency signal panel...a vestige of her nylon predecessor’s orange lining. And, of course, she has the classy bi-swing back.

Her cuff knits are a little frayed. She has some minor scuffs on her right sleeve. And she’s tatooed, here and there, with patch shadows and Velcro receivers. She keeps her secrets, but all theses things whisper to me that this lady probably saw some interesting days before she settled down to become mine.

I'm telling you, this is the jacket (similar to the one I just got) that changed me from leather (for now) to "nylon" jackets.
I think I'm getting the red MA-1 below because I just love the whole deal (sans the cost maybe).

This is my before mentioned daily wearer in "too cold for leather jackets" climate, have worn it all last winter, for the biggest part of the past two months, it has seen the washer three times already and it's still holding up. Levis Golden Corduroy sherpa lined trucker jacket. Way too comfortable and surprisingly cozy. Everytime I wear it, I'm thinking "oh sell all those leather jackets, just get something like this in unlined for the summer and be done. :D

I would usually find myself reaching for the fur lined jean jacket much, much more often than for anything leather once it gets really cold but the warmest jacket I've had so far is that Hein Gericke. I don't know if it's the removable liner it's got or what but I seriously can't get cold in it. Warmer than the B3 and that says a lot. I'd still like to get one of these in my size. One I got is too large. The Levi's got some nice ones at the store right now but they're pricey af where I am...
