Hello everyone,

Avirex 1986 A-2 but it seems a little oversized to me, i'd like your opinions on this kind of jacket, I've been looking a lot of vintage pictures of A-2 and besides the one from "Pearl Harbor" which look oversized as well, the rest looked a little tighter.

I usually wear something smaller as you can see on the second pic so may be it's just my eyes not used to it. Also there is nomway i can stack up layers under the second jacket without ruining it.

Dude that is some great photography! The first jacket looks great.

I think this looks perfect Nick. The key is you seem to have broad shoulders and are tall and thin. I think the HWM looks best on a frame like yours and you've positively nailed the fit to the ground.

Less than broad shoulders...I have a bad back, suffer low confidence, or am getting old, because I have horrible posture. Pics don't really tell the story. Have always suffered with it.

Wearing my Good Wear Modoc this evening:

Good Wear Modoc 18.jpg

* The angle of the photo makes it look like the bottom does not line up correctly -- upon viewing the photo, I immediately inspected the jacket -- edges line up perfectly -- its something odd about the angle of the photo -- just goes to show that sometimes we are hyper-critical of jackets based on oddities that are more a function of the photo than the actual construction of the jacket.

Great Photos, both jackets look good to me, what is the 2nd jacket?

Great pictures and fantastic footwear also. Are they boots and gaiters or a complete long-shafted hunting boot?

DrMacbre, - Ok, I've been cruising here a while, just not posting and there are just soooooooooo many nice jackets to mention. This one looks great, fits you well and you look like a model in that WW II jacket, gators, pants and boots. Don't know that I would do a complete outfit like that, but you wear it well and that's all that counts.

Hey looks cool man! It's the human condition to be overly critical of one's own self. Everyone thinks it looks good, perception is reality uh [emoji4]
