Coat and glove weather here this morning. Too bad I forgot the gloves.

Saint Laurent safari jacket. While this is not a brand spoken about on this forum, this piece is pretty timeless and historic to Yves Saint Laurent.

@Michael A those boots are incredible. Wish Sears still sold stuff like that!
Thanks feltfan. Wouldn't it be great if Sears still made stuff like this and the other hunting gear/workwear that they historically made. LL Bean does make a rubber vamp 16" boot in Maine for an extremely reasonable $169. It seems reasonable to me anyway.

This thread keeps going from strength to strength.

Micheal, be careful or some hipster will roll you for the old Schott!
Would that be a hippy vs hipster 3 fall match?

Kona, the St Laurent looks great. The first piece of leather gear I had was a safari jacket with a very similar cut to that, but in lamb or goat. Don't remember. It was a big hit at the time.

The boots are seriously too good, Michael. They're literally perfect. Endgame kinda footwear for me.
Glad you like them Monitor. I'm hoping to get quite a bit of wear out of them this summer. Memory tells me that I had just got them cleaned up, conditioned and shaped up when winter hit last fall and then I didn't want to wear them outside after that.

Thanks all,
Michael

A much nicer morning than yesterday morning. Today a Remy, a brand that doesn't get much play around here I guess,

My upstairs neighbor gave me this one last year. As I recall he said a friend of his had given it to him 10 or 15 years ago after the friend outgrew it. It's squeaky and creaky from lack of wear time.

Bored yet?

It was missing a button when I got it, so I had to put on a new set. And also repair the lining around the collar area.

More great footwear, Michael :)
Thanks handymike. They are Cesare Paciotti that I found NOS at a Goodwill maybe a month ago. I think they are from the 90s, but not really sure.

I probably shouldn't be hijacking the jackets thread, but.

And speaking of Goodwill, I'm off to see if they have anything lying around there today.

Thanks,
Michael
