Did you check the pockets for any old, forgotten stash? :D

Does it make you want to listen to 70's music when you wear it?

Does it have the star on the shoulder?

That is so cool Nick! This is the first time I have ever seen (a photo of) someone wearing one of those in the wild. They should be collectors items.

I'll bet that you find a little grin tugging at the corner of your mouth when you wear it. Hard not to be happy in it... kinda makes you feel... (should I say it) ...GROOVY!

Thanks all. It has been a dream for quite a while. I should really do a review. No star on back BobJ. I think that was the LVCxAero version but could be wrong. Definitely not a great fitting jacket for my frame but it'll do. A bit short in back and sleeves and may have the most narrow fitting mid-arm area I have ever worn. Strange cut, but to be fair, strange times. I don't really remember much of the '60s but I was told I had a good time...

It IS a collector's item far as I'm concerned, so even if it hardly gets worn I appreciate keeping it around...the design is something special and it's put together flawlessly, although has some wear and tear from previous owner, including protruding sleeve lining. Trying to locate the maker's tag has proved fruitless thus far, but it is a search with all of those pockets. :)

The steerhide used it interesting.

Pros: priceless unique Aero color and jacket design, deserving of more photos. Truly gorgeous, and this thing has seen some use. Leather is not too heavy, maybe mid-weight between Vicenza and CXL horse; jacket drapes nicely. A very chemically-induced bovine smell, not pleasant. Could be from prior owner but I think it's the leather. But still better than stale hashish.

Conclusion: The design is so cool and steeped in a rich tradition of coolness. So off to the park I go to lay in the blades of grass under tangerine skies...

Yeah, @nick123 My CR is just a CR and any review of the CR will do but this is something unseen that truly deserves a review. I would be genuinely interested to read it!

@Jaime you have almost single handedly changed my mind on an A2 with that! What contract is it?

Such a responsibility! Im wearing the Eastman Slender model in Warhorse (when I ordered it they ran out of the steerhide they use for this model so they made it in horse) and actually it looks slimmer than it fits, you don't feel tight inside and the hide is breaking very gently.

Monitor in 1943: Im not going to war man, this jacket is too baggy.

Actually, that sorta happened sans war because the war was over. I was even commended for "being mindful of the image I am presenting which must always reflect the high standard, order and discipline blahblah...".

"Cool" in south FL this AM so wore my Vanson Commando (Navajo lining). When it warms up I will wear a Schott perforated cafe racer I keep in the office and then back to the Commando tonight. Pretty soon it will be too hot for anything but vests unless i am on the bike. At least I get to still put on some leather, right?
