But I'm thinking it's actually overcoat weather, unless I linger around the house long enough for it to warm up outside.

Love this. Never seen anything quite like it.Raining today . . . West Is Dead waxed canvas:
Love this. Wouldn't even know it was blue from the pics though. Does daylight bring the colour out more in the flesh?View attachment 69107 View attachment 69106 My Aero Teamster in navy CXL.

Label:
Sweater, Man's 100% Wool, OD
Contract No. DLA100-89-C-0405
Stock No: 8405-00-163-8906
Size: Large (42-44)

It is a very athletic cut, so if you look for one you may want to size up from your regular size. I'll try to get a photo of it untucked later.

The cap doesn't exactly fit today's color scheme, but it is something I made a couple of years ago and it hasn't had any head time in quite awhile, so it came out to play on what is supposed to be a very windy day.

Thanks Barnabus. I should probably make some more of these caps in a few more colors and some better quality fabrics.Love this! Suits you down to the ground, this one. Looks effortless together with the rest of your outfit and that cap is just the absolute bomb.
Thanks for the info Marv. I picked the sweater up yesterday at a local thrift. The erroneous info I posted came from an etsy seller, which reminds me once again to not put much weight on their sales pitches. The label info is correct. I agree with Monitor that I could live with another 10 of these. The wool seems very high quality and very low itch factor. Still trying to track down how old the Swedish pants I'm wearing are too. Are you good with other countries surplus goods?Cold War 5 button sweater issued in 1989, pretty much identical to the WW2 version but in more of a brown shade than olive.
Barnabus, the blue is very subtle indeed. Even out in the sun it has been mistaken for a black jacket by some of my friends. Only when you look more closely, or hold it up next to a black jacket is the blue noticeable.Love this. Wouldn't even know it was blue from the pics though. Does daylight bring the colour out more in the flesh?
Indeed. I was surprised to see so many likes for this post when it's clearly that. And the weather forecast is heavy spam...

I agree about the cap, it looks amazing. I'm surprised an amateur could make a cap with a peak and crown that look so awesome. Well done, Michael. Thanks Barnabus. I should probably make some more of these caps in a few more colors and some better quality fabrics.
Well, considering the amount of women this sub-forum had seen, the chances that a legit female poster suddenly pops up are about zero to none.
Reverse image search suggests that Jessica Mullen's photo also appears on the Google+ page of Stephanie Fernandez. Also linking to a USAJacket jacket. You're right. In fact, it probably wasn't even a female who posted - probably just some smarmy guy with a random internet photo.
