What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

View attachment 144626 View attachment 144627 Tried my first Freewheelers jacket today. This is the Mulholland. I loved the fit, not sure about the style. It is the first time I have seen their jackets in the flesh. The shop only has this style available so I will spend some time this weekend giving it some thought. I am not a great fan of zipper pockets. Very well made jackets.
I am experiencing a real first world dilemma.
For the price you will pay , I'd want it shorter in the body and longer in the sleeves. Probably 1" less body length and at least 1/2-1" more in the sleeves. It's certainly not a bad fit by any means and the jacket looks great on you but I personally would struggle with the notion of paying FW prices if the fit weren't very precise. The style suits you very well though.

Thanks for the observations Ton, I am not so worried about the length, over time the bottom hem can get a slight curl but your observations about the length of the sleeves is probably bang on as over time they will roll up further.
I am looking for good reasons not to spend a wedge of cash. I have been thinking about a Himel Frobisher. This one crossed my path, it is a bit like a beautiful woman looking at me and smiling. It hard not to be distracted, even if just for a moment.

Oh I understand. Have been there plenty of times myself. I have found I'm more forgiving when it comes to less costly jackets. But when it comes to top tier prices I want the fit to match. I think you'd do better with Himel. You can dial in the fit to your exact specs. Happy hunting!

Back home after travel to Cleveland and Dallas. Prior to kissing my wife, hugging my son or even walking around my bike, I walked to the closet to put this baby on. Kidding, but the first three were done in about six seconds.

Wore it to work this AM as we are having a bit of a cold snap.

Aero Dustbowl today. I’m a bit back and forth about this one. It’s super nice, but some days I think it’s a little too big and am considering putting it up for sale, and other days I appreciate the looser fit and ability to layer under it.

If I sold it to you, at least I could be fairly certain that I could buy it back after about a month if I wanted to[emoji6]
