I wore my repro Willis & Geiger M-422 as I battled thru the WORST traffic mess in NJ that I’ve ever seen. Total failure by the unprepared state and city governments, road crews, transportation “experts” and weather guessers. Six inches of snow crippled the Tri-state area. Embarrassing lack of preparation and response. @Worf I feel ya, pal!

Saw this Hercules on Aero's sale page, Brown FQHH. On checking the measurements against a used steerhide Hercules jacket I bought in May, it looked spot on. I couldn't resist. Chuffed to bits when it arrived and fit perfectly!! My first FQHH and I must say it looks & feels amazing. I've been wearing it as much as possible over the last 2 weeks and it's breaking in superbly. I've read other peoples comments about FQHH being too stiff & heavy. Personally I find it great to wear. Yes, it takes a little getting used to but, for me, breaking the jacket in & seeing the patina develop is all part of the appeal.

View attachment 144626 View attachment 144627 Tried my first Freewheelers jacket today. This is the Mulholland. I loved the fit, not sure about the style. It is the first time I have seen their jackets in the flesh. The shop only has this style available so I will spend some time this weekend giving it some thought. I am not a great fan of zipper pockets. Very well made jackets.
I am experiencing a real first world dilemma.

I would be telling you to buy it immediately as well... if it weren't for the fact that you're not big on zip jackets. Freewheelers have a lot of other options, and you now know what your fit is like with the Mulholland. You're in a very good position that many of us would love to be in :D

Edit: typos

Too cold for leather doesn’t even compute...

Where I live in Melbourne, leather is generally inadequate against the cold (when it is 10 degrees and lower) or too hot - any day over 18 degrees. This is probably why I only ever get about 6 weeks of leather wear in any given year.

Today I'm wearing a Baracuta G4.
