Looks great. I can't imagine choosing an A-2 over a G-1. Been searching the bay a bit looking for a decent vintage one.
@Grayland, Thanks, The G-1 allows for a greater range of movement and is far more "comfortable" than my A-2. The mouton collar does limit when I consider wearing it though.. it gives it more of a cold weather look.
If you haven't already you should consider an Eastman.. I have had both a vintage G-1 and an Eastman ( neither fit me well & were sold on) the Eastman was just fantastic.. I look for a size 48 everyday...

Thanks! I'm really happy with how much shorter the sleeves have gotten already.Very cool. The sleeve length is looking good as they crease and ride up a bit.
