Apologies for more "self centred complacency" haha.. Vintage Fidelity café racer today , my most recent arrival.

Jacket fits real snug , not a hint of "ballooning". labelled a 44" , must be a "70's" 44" haha... T shirt only jacket this.

First Harley run out , 7C start 17C on the way home. Perfect jacket for today. Some "high speed passes" out of town.

Grainy mobile phone shots at the Indian Ocean. Again , apologies for the "no change of Ocean" folks !

Last nice winter's day here before the next south/sou' west rain pattern. Simmons Bilt Nebraska in black goat today.

7C start , 21C by 2.30pm. Them's the winters I came here for ! Rode the Harley in the arvo a 45 K's round trip.

This jacket "fits" better than it appears in a photo. It just "feels right" tho' some of my others look better in photos.

Each dry day my riding group head out on the Harleys , north or south , Indian Ocean coast both ways !

The snaps are taken at the coffee/beer stops on the way. I am "semi retired" at 61 , can't afford to be "fully" retired yet !

Many of my riding crew are long retired , several are in their early to mid 70's , one guy is 80 and the oldest is 90 !

You can see the next front due west in the above photo. Can't say we don't get any warning of it coming !

Usual jacket, i hope it gets browner closer to that darker tan color on my boots by the end of this year. Not sure if i should just let the uv does its thing or i should oil it to get it to the next step.
Need to go out to buy flag since our independence day is nearing, and to stock paper (a4 paper ok, NOT toilet paper...)

Oil it up, buddy! I would be worried about the sun and heat making the leather dry.

How many dogs do you have? I have two and we 100% need more pictures of dogs and jackets. The world is pretty shi**y right now and dogs and jackets would make it just that much more tolerable. Someone should
Make that thread.

Yup! I have a natural belt from 1350. It came in a very very pale color. I put the thinnest layer of pecards on it and left it in the sun for 4-5 hours and it’s now a much more wearable and pretty color. Sorry for the crappy pics as I took them right now on the way out the door for work after reading this. But you’ll get the point and see the difference just one thin layer and a few hours makes.

They're having fun! Dogs are the best.
Old picture I posted here a long time ago but as I said we need more dogs and jackets. My Star Sportswear 60s G-1 for sale in classifieds. I’m holding my dog Charlie. He’s my my OG Ride or Die as they say. He’s a 12/13 year old Pit Bull Boxer. The other one is 3 year old rare colored Frenchie named Gretchen. We were nervous about Charlie at his old age accepting a new sister. Got lucky and they love one another. Gretchen thinks Charlie can do no wrong. He has been patient and taught her how to be a dog, as she was a puppy mill rescue who had no idea what being a dog was about. And since this is what jacket are you wearing TODAY I shall wear this to my dinner plans tonight. Was already wearing the same jeans and hat.

Forgot to tag you @navetsea in this post as well. As I said a super thin layer of pecards and an afternoon in the sun. The pecards added a bit of color but I feel like also helps protect it and save it from drying out in the harsh summer sun. I would imagine in the case of your jacket 3-4 days of some very small amount protectant/balm And 4 hours in the sun will get it looking a beautiful caramel color.
