Thanks. What I mean is on a few I have been playing with the creases, some are easier than others and like you said, the felt makes the difference. This is all dry bashing of course.

Have you ever heard of a hatter picking one block over another based on what crease the client wants? John Penman answered my question about how he chose the block for my current hat in that way, showing a stark difference in blocks of the same size and height.
