What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?

Figured Id trot out another Stetson cowboy conversion this morning. Its a bit taller crown than most I have, and I love the color. Wanting to re-flange the brim to get a bit more curl to snap up in back, but have been thinking of adding ribbon edge binding to this one first. Just cant decide whether to do narrow or wide

I like your work.
I have come to favor a shorter brim, especially since my weight loss.
2 3/8 is my favorite now.
You wear the shorter brim well!!!

Nice lid Joe ! Interesting as well because I'm expecting delivery of a Dobbs "Hankachif Felt" this morning.

Nice one, Rick. I look forward to seeing the binding, whichever you choose.

Late entry from last night. Wearing my "traditional" Adam Executive concert hat with the Reddy pin to see BTO at the Darke County Fair.

Eighty years old and what a great show.

He told great stories, played a bunch of Guess Who, and took care of business.
That's a VERY sharp Adam! And I bet that was an INCREDIBLE show. It's a little startling to realize I've been listening to their various incarnations for over a half-century. o_O

Thanks! I think the vast majority of my hats are 2-1/4-2-1/2 " brims at most. Over the last few years, I think Ive prob trimmed a half dozen 3" brims down to 2-1/2...Makes them MUCH more wearable. If I rode fence lines on a horse or baled hay, I wand bigger brims... but at the coffee shop or walmart its just not needed. I like getting in and out of a vehicle without knocking the brim. I DO actually have a fair number of nice 2" brims that Ive picked up cheap. Never really wore the smaller brims, but Im finding them in the rotation more and more.

Thank you Tim.. nice find. The Dobbs Hankachif was the only ones I had seen previously. The Biltmore is a lightweight felt.. but not probably as thin and lightweight as the Dobbs…. I suppose it’s more “light weight for Canada”.
I bet your hat is pretty easy on the head too. I see it also has an unreeded sweatband which makes for a very comfortable fit in my opinion. The Dobbs got that TAR thing going on though.lol.
