Ya know... I hadnt thought about that! That very well could be the reason lol

One of these days Im going to do something about the ends of this ribbon... its always had a mind of its own and refuses to lay down flat on the brim

When you go to wear it wet the tips of your index finger & thumb with tap water, then pull the ribbon tail through out to the end a couple of times. That will usually get it to lay down for the wearing.

Agreed. I was the happy recipient of a hat that didn't fit @DonR in January.

I really like these old Marathons, and this one's very nice.

After the Stratoliner at the coffee shop, I DID change my mind and pop on the Stetson/ Miller with the new ribbon for a grocery run. Figured I didnt go to the effort of a new ribbon just to sit on the wall lol. Oh well its pretty common for me to change my mind and do two or even three hats during the day... ( Im retired and do it just because I can!) lol
