Echter Borsalino "Fico" "Lama", date stamped May 18, 1929. This is hat from my rare 2015 find of three circa 1929 Max Eckard Berlin, Echter Borsalino Soft Felt Hats. It's one of my finest + special finds.

Wow, that’s one gorgeous hat, Steve! I love the, crown, the brim, the ribbon, and the color. It is definitely is the personification of a fine gentlemen’s hat

Wow what a hat! And you answered another question I had about whether all Stetson 7x CB were westerns. Obviously not.

I suppose that if we shovel light beiges into the SB pile (which I’m happy to do), then this 3X ME fits the bill:
