Wearing my Akubra Balmoral (woven Hemp) as it's a hot wind 'n a little warm today and I'm busy working outside again.

Well I was working for 10mins at least making a new place for my next new hat to rest upon and keep it's size. I make em my shape/size obviously so things stay just perfect. I'm too cheap for a hat-jack (I lie as I do have one lol) and they always twist about on me).
Hmmm... Think I might have to get on the lathe soon and make some nice turned timber display rests/stands, was going to turn a nice shaving brush too. Have a few projects in mind to turn. This basic rest block looks a bit bland, can't complain though as this one costs nothing.
