Thank you, steur! Yeah, hand sewing is way too tedious for me. Wearing three pairs of reading glasses while looking through a magnifying glass, two bright lights, and dealing with back issues to boot, has convinced me that a sewing machine will be much better on me for doing brim bindings.

My son in law's grandad was black watch, and did mysterious duty for the crown as well ( no double 0' s that I know of). They schooled me in the right to wear a tartan, and don't seem to think I have a right.

I was in the Air Force 22 years and picked up all sorts of military memorabilia. Spent 6 years in Germany. My favorite tour.
